The first incarnation of the Hooligan Band came together in 1978, comprised of Carl Mateo, Don LaSala, Johnny "Cannonball" Stevens, Glenn Brown, Billy Klock, Marji Cooney, and Howie Zeger. Since that time, a couple of bass players, Bill Manley, Kent Barclay and Don "Dawson" Lawson have come on the scene and moved on, and each of the players have moved on to their individual pursuits, musical and otherwise. Still, the band and kindred souls continue to gather for several annual celebrations, now going on three decades' worth of spirited nonsense and sweet music. Created to commemorate the band's 15th anniversary, this poster was designed in Color It! on a plain jane Mac LC.

The banner for Doktor Don Dulchinos' page, Introduction to an Eleusinian Revival. The ceremony at Eleusis is key to understanding the Greek Mystery Rites, perhaps the highest development of the Mother of western religions prior to the dominance of Christianity. The cultural remnants of the Eleusian Mystery is today termed Paganism.

For a project as yet to emerge from the drawing board. For those in the know, the symbolism of Terrapin Station is obvious. Combining that icon with that of the pearl produced this image... the pearl being the symbol of Knowledge hard-worn, esoteric, secreted, generated from base elements transformed into a gem. Created with a PowerMac 6100, Kai's Goo, Kai's Power Tools Lens Effects, Fractal Painter, and Color It!. |

My first attempt at digital art, from 1986. Dan Quayle's rancid smirk, Robert Yurik's eyes (reversed), and my right hand. The piece was done on an Amiga 1000, a Digiview video digitizer, and Deluxe Paint.
